NOTICE! – I will be overseas from 4th April to 5th May.
Orders received during that time will be shipped once I return, sorry for any inconvenience.

This is just a currency indication/approximation. Checkout will be processed in Australian dollars.

Ideal for second operation processes, prototyping and repair work.  It can be used on a wide range of machine tools in the workshop whilst drilling, turning, milling, tapping and grinding operations are carried out..

The system comprises two main components.

1. The Chuck Body – This is machined from 4140 heat treated high tensile steel and houses all the moving components. The chuck body can be mounted to most lathes, milling machines, CNC work-centres, drills, rotary tables and dividing heads, surface and cylindrical grinders and many other types of machine tools via a backplate, Morse taper arbor, straight shank or base plate.

2. The Aluminium Adapters – These screw on to the front of the Flexi-Chuck and utilize a flexure mechanism so there are no actual moving parts forward of the chuck body to get jammed by chips or worn by abrasive grit. They can be turned or milled to suit an infinite variety of shapes and workpieces (see example pictures below). A rubber seal in each adapter protects the chuck’s critical components from the ingress of grit, chips and coolant.

The adapters are a consumable item and are available in three sizes – 50mm, 75mm and 100mm (2″, 3″ and 4″) and two grades of aluminium (2011 free machining, and 7075 high tensile).
