Mini Lathe Owners.

Due to the short amount of cross slide travel on a 7×14 or 7×16 “Mini” type lathe, the L/H tool holder held lengthways with the lathe bed (see photos) is a better option than the normally used R/H tool if you are only buying a single holder. The L/H held this way allows a much larger diameter to be turned than can be achieved with the R/H tool due to its larger overhang.
